Join in the fun as we watch this classic 1956 film outdoors*.
Jonathan, an artist working for a Massachusetts society to paint frontier scenes at a remote army post, is away from Boston so long that his fiancée, Cynthia, chaperoned by her Aunt Agatha, travel to Fort Alden looking for him. She finds him enjoying the company of the storekeeper's daughter as well as mixed up with a Mohawk Chief’s daughter, all while a vengeful settler begins stirring up war for his own gain.
Enjoy the film and discuss some of the liberties Hollywood took with history to tell this legend.
*Movie inside the Enders House if raining
