On Saturday, October 15th Fort Stanwix National Monument will offer the 3rd annual International Archeology Day Celebration. Visitors will have the opportunity to dig into the world of archeology to learn more about the tools they use and see some of the artifacts uncovered at the site.
This event is free and open to the public. Between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, hands-on activities and displays will take place at the Fort Stanwix National Monument visitor center located at 100 North James Street. All speakers will be presenting in the auditorium of the Rome Historical Society, located at 200 Church Street.
