Descendants of Rev. Peter Nicholas Sommer are invited to visit the Old Lutheran Parsonage, which was built for him and where he raised his family. Information regarding the highly revered Rev. Sommer will be available, as will be a copy of “The Sommer-Sommers-Somers and Summers That Missed the Boat”, a very comprehensive guide to the Sommer family tree. Take a tour of the neighboring historic cemetery and resting place of Rev. and Mrs. Sommer, and learn about the many changes to what was the first Sommer family home, over its 274 year history. This will be a wonderful opportunity to gather together Sommer descendants to meet each other and share their ancestry. Refreshments will be available.
