Lodowick Putman home attacked by Native American party
Shortly after midnight, Lodowick Putman's home attacked by a party of Native Americans. Lodowick and his son were killed. Mrs. Putnam and a daughter were not harmed. The home was on the corner of present day Route 29 and Hales Mill.
