Evenings at the Old Fort- A Smithstown Sojourn

Location: Old Fort Johnson National Historic Landmark

"A Smithstown Sojourn: Visiting Sir William Johnson's Birthplace" Join us as Ron & Wanda Burch take us on a journey to Ireland for a modern day look at Sir William’s ancestral home in County Meath, Ireland. The Burch’s visited in 2013 and this program will offer a unique look at Johnson’s Irish roots.

Admission is $2.00 and members of the Montgomery County Historical Society are free. Old Fort Johnson is located at the intersection of Routes 5 & 67 in the Village of Fort Johnson, approximately one mile west of Amsterdam.
