Fall Lecture Series, Fort Plain: John Anson

Location: Fort Plain Museum

The Trustees and Staff are pleased to announce that John Anson, a well-known Interpretive Historian specializing in artillery, has agreed to offer his audio-visual presentation on "Cannon Manufacturing in the 18th Century and Now" on October 16th.

The 2014 "Fall Lecture Series at the Fort" will begin this September and run on Thursday evenings at 7:00pm for all to enjoy. The Fall Lecture Series, hosted by the Fort Plain Museum, has been initiated to provide the greater communities in the Mohawk and Upper Hudson Valleys with a variety of distinguished lecturers and speakers. These speakers will use their significant knowledge to bring to life topics directly relating to the 18th Century and out War for Independence.

These lectures are offered free of charge, but donations will be gratefully appreciated to help offset our cost.
