Access to the home is only with a guided tour. The tours are on the hour. The last tour begins at 4 p.m.

Open Monday holidays during season - Memorial Day, Independence Day & Labor Day - guided tours of the home are available on the hour from 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
The Visitor Center is open Wednesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sundays, 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
This Georgian-style mansion was the home to Revolutionary War hero, General Nicholas Herkimer. Herkimer completed construction of the mansion about 1764 and died here following a leg injury he sustained during the Battle of Oriskany in Aug. 1777.
